There may not have been much posting going on lately and I've been spending rather too much time underneath this, (I blame a really horrible tummy bug that's been causing havoc for the offspring and me, plus this durgy weather which frankly is rather too much like hard work), but oh we have still managed to be busy here at No.25.
The list of plans for the year is being worked through with gusto. That's what happens with New Year plans in our house because we only put nice things to do on the list!
We are the proud but rather amazed owners of a new set of wheels, the first brand new ones we have ever owned! Gosh it's plush and very, very comfy but naggingly I now have yet another thing to try and keep clean and tidy. Oooh that sounds horridly ungrateful, I love it honestly.
Holidays are booked and thanks to my talented other half we will be travelling to the West Country not once, but twice over the summer to sample the delights of holiday cottages by the sea. My absolute favourite type of holiday; I can hardly wait. The Lakes, Port Isaac (again!) and the Jurassic Coast here we come.
But guess what I've been enquiring about? Sadly there are no furry friends looking for a new home quite just yet but after we return from the seaside we may be in luck. Do hope they'll like their thrifted mobile home and very cosy, vintagey new find (I daren't let on how many I have of these now!) - they'd better!

Looks like an excellent eiderdown to feel yuk under Steph.
So many plans underway. That perfect cat will come up just when you least expect it. We got Pip from an advert I saw in the place I buy our straw bales from. Vets always have homes needed pleas in case you haven't tried there yet.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Steph! I'm so glad that you're all feeling better! I've left you a comment about how much I'm enjoying your posts. They're as good as getting one of our great magazines!
I don't remember if I told you that you've inspired me right into doing a blog of my own! If you're interested, the site is:

Hi Steph, I hope you and you little ones feel better soon, mind you I'm sure there's been some lovely snuggling going on under that eiderdown!
Which car did you get? I'm managing to keep my new car clean on the inside so far, but outside it's filthy! I gave it a quick going over during the big freeze, and the suds and water froze on, but it didn't take long to get dirty again with the lovely weather we are having at the mo!
I'm sure they'll be a lovely moggy just perfect for your lovely family in no time.

Hi Steph,
I love that feeling of knowing when your holidays sit in the scheme of things and I am a ritualistic thing and love to visit the same places over and over and discover new things to love about them.
We are off for a first Cornish fix in February and I can't wait....
As for that eiderdown, the colours are so lovely especially the geen, I am most envious!
Hope you are all recovering from the dreaded lurgy?

Despite feeling yukky you sound very happy with life in general Steph. Gorgeous eiderdown and looking forward to seeing your new addition. And you're coming to Cornwall again!!! xx
With an eiderdown that pretty even if you hadn't been ill, I can see that spending time under it would appeal.
Must book our summer hols - still trying to find the perfect campsite.
Lovely warm eiderdown. Sorry to hear you have been ill nothing worse but you have holidays to look forward to. Which Jurassic coast will you be visiting?
if you have an eiderdown as gorgeous as that then it would be rude not to be relaxing!!!
I love your eiderdown.. paisley is an all time favourite of mine...
Sorry you haven't been well and hope you are all back to tip top health soon... and I am so glad you like the west country... as with most things when you live here you tend to not actually get out and appreciate it very often... I wish sometimes I could look at my area with the eyes of a visitor...

Thanks for looking at my blog and commenting - THAT just made my day (Hee)! = ) !
Tummy bug 'yuk' are the pits and there's nothing worse than being ill at this time of the year too - I do hope you all feel better soon though that eiderdown does look pretty comfy.
Have a wonderful'ish' weekend,

Love the idea of a 'to do' list with only nice things on it - so much more achievable!
Hope your tummy is feeling better - drink peppermint tea.
New car eh! I remember when I got my first brand new car. A Vauxhall Corsa. Shame I had to get rid of it when we moved over here. We have a Ford Fusion now and it's not a pacth on the Corsa.
We have had a stomach bug doing the rounds over here also and it caught up with me before Christmas, so I know how you have been feeling. Hope things gets better for you soon. Good luck with the cat hunting and those holidays, well you do have something special to look forward to.
Hello, just discovered your delicious blog via Attic24 and mumsnet. I have small boys too and share many of the thing on your 'love' list! I look forward to visiting often.
sorry you have been germ ridden! how horrid. But the eiderdown looks very snuggly indeed. We are off to Cornwall in two months as well-hurrah!!
Very exciting to hear you're getting a new addition to the family-purrfect in fact! ha!

Hi Steph
I've been very remiss and it's been such an age since I visited your blog. I've just spent a jolly 20 minutes or so catching up on your activities (and poorliness - hope you're fighting fit now).
I was prompted to comment on this post as I see you're planning a visit to the Jurassic Coast and wondered if you might get the chance to pop in and say hello at Dairy House. Would be lovely to meet you if so. ;))
It's been lovely catching up with all your news. I mustn't stay away so long next time!
